Break the Norm Leadership strongly believes in servant leadership and community partnerships. Twice a month staff volunteer and host leadership classes in title one schools in their community. Yearly, they do a donation drive to support students in DHS foster care through the non profit Embrace Oregon. They also strongly believe in generational learning and host several of their leadership classes is Senior Care facilities and invite residents to join in on the learning and activities. With each act of service students and staff are making an impact in their communities, while learning through the power of giving and helping others.
Scholarships are available for students needing financial assistance. Students can apply by writing a 1 page essay about "Why they think it is important to be a good leader". The essay must be written by the child applying. The essay should then be emailed to the program director: firstname.lastname@example.org
