Did you know that dachshunds are natural-born leaders? We may be small, but we pack a big punch when it comes to confidence, a little stubbornness, and an unshakable sense of loyalty.
Despite our size, both humans and other animals can’t help but recognize our leadership skills. Let’s be honest—we run our households!
Don’t believe me? Just look up dachshund videos on social media. Bwahaha!
But back to the point.
This got me thinking about leadership traits. I believe that all truly influential leaders, whether they use their power for good or for harm, share two key qualities: confidence and grit.
So here’s your Wiener Dog Leadership Challenge for today:
Think of five words that describe you as a leader.
If confidence or grit (or a version of those traits) isn’t on your list, I encourage you to consider ways to build those qualities in yourself. Developing a personal growth plan might be just the ticket.
Remember, leadership is all about influence. The most impactful leaders are the ones who use that influence to make a positive difference.
